Quercianella, the village

We are in Quercianella, a little village at 10 Km south of Livorno. We are in the residential area called ‘Chioma’ at less than 1 km from the village centre, where you can find some food shops, a bakery, a supermarket, a pharmacy, a post office, a bank, a newsagent’s kiosk, some restaurants, pizzerias and ice-cream shops, the railway station.
Connections by public means of transport are easy during day time.

• Bus Stop 500 m.
• Quercianella Railway Station 700 m (no taxi outside).

Quercianella and The Coast of the Etruscans

From Livorno to Quercianella the coast is pebbly, free bays are made up of stones and pebbles.

The Chioma Bay is at 5-minute walking distance. The bathing facility is on the left side of the bay and offers deckchairs, sun beds, sun umbrellas, warm showers. The weekly entrance fee is advantageous for our guests, in fact they are granted a discount price.

The right side of the bay is free, it is pebbly and rocky, the water is deep and it is a perfect place for expert swimmers or fishers.

You can find sandy beaches with free access from Castiglioncello at around 5 km south of Quercianella up to the promontory of Piombino for over 80 km.
